PureAir maintains a small fleet of rental systems that can be used as odor control systems or emergency gas scrubbers. PureAir has a solid history of growth over the past 18 years, and there is always room for improvement, especially as we look ahead at our next 18 years. At this point in our path forward, we have decided to invest in new talent. I am excited to announce the promotion of Ashley Jameson to President of PureAir Filtration. Ashley has served as the Director of Business Development for five years and has more than 10 years of senior management experience including serving as the Director of Operations for a major healthcare system, before joining PureAir.

Chlorine is one of the most widely used chemicals for industrial waste and sewage treatment due to its disinfectant capabilities. Biogas production for renewable energy requires the removal of H₂S through a process called desulphurization. PureAir Filtration has developed Sulphasorb Fe™, a media that is ideally suited for biogas applications. Sulphasorb Fe™ is an iron oxide-based scavenger that breaks new ground in the removal of H₂S due to its removal capacity that is minimum 25% by weight.

The Innovative Product of the Year award was created to promote product development in the filtration and separation industry for a clean, healthy, and sustainable world. PureAir is proud to be one of only three recipients of the 2022 award.

PureAir Filtration’s Safetysorb media used with the Sentry™ Emergency Gas Dry Scrubber provides a dependable line of defense against chlorine gas leaks. This extremely effective toxic gas scrubber is widely used at water treatment facilities, water reclamation operations, paper mills, chemical manufacturers, and similar types of industrial sites.

The EBM has now been upgraded to the EBMv2 to offer even better performance than the first generation model. In addition to the previous features, this new generation monitor is equipped with cellular communications and GPS to identify the location of the unit that requires a media changeout.

Among the most serious and costly problems for the oil and gas industry is hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) emission. This highly toxic and explosive gas not only has a foul odor, it also produces sulfuric acid that is highly corrosive to metal, concrete, and other materials.
