PFU-Mini
Keep electronics safe from corrosive pollutants — while improving indoor air quality.
Capture harmful gases in datacenters
The PureAir PFU-Mini is a self-contained, movable unit that recirculates the air in datacenters. As the air passed through PureAir’s gas adsorbent media, harmful corrosive gases are captured and permanently bound. Purified air is sent out the top of the unit where it is used to cool servers without harming electrical components.
Easy Installation, Low Energy Consumption
The PFU-Mini has low energy consumption and minimal noise. Installation in existing server cabinets is a snap because it plugs into standard electrical sockets. Each unit provides protection for up to 2500 ft2 (approximately 250 m2). Airflow is variable, controllable up to 500 CFM (850 CMH), and differential pressure gauges indicate filter changes for easy maintenance.

The facility is located about 100 miles inside the Arctic Circle, so it is closed for about eight months out of the year.
Because of this issue, ensuring the cleanest possible recirculation of air was a top-priority for the mine.
