PureAir Filtration’s V-Bank Transition System (VTS) system is a self-contained horizontal footprint system for spaces with limited height but high odorous airflow. This deep bed system provides continuous high efficiency air purification for contaminated air streams ranging in volume from 7,000 to 42,000 CFM while maintaining a compact, flexible design.

The VTS system comes in either blow-through or draw-through configurations with multiple banks of media for each bed. As with all PureAir systems, the VTS is completely customizable with a full (two media beds) or half ‘V’ (one media bed) configuration.

FACILITY TYPE: RL Sutton Wastewater Reclamation Facility

LOCATION: Cobb County, Georgia

EQUIPMENT/MEDIA USED: V-Bank Transition System (VTS) filled with Sulphasorb XL™ and CPS Blend adsorbent media

PROBLEM: A high volume of VOCs, H2S and other gases being released from the Biosolids Transfer Station are causing complaints from neighbors.

SOLUTION: PureAir installed a VTS filled with both Sulphasorb XL™ and CPS Blend adsorbent media to treat 40,000 CFM of malodorous air. Odorless air, happy staff, and a cease in complaints from neighbors is the result.

FACILITY TYPE: KJO Oil Refinery

LOCATION: Saudi Arabia, Khafji

EQUIPMENT/MEDIA USED: Side Access Housing (SAH), V-Bank Transition System (VTS) and Sulphasorb Fe™ and PureAir 12 adsorbent media

PROBLEM: Extremely high levels of H2S are corroding electronics and compromising the safety of employees.

SOLUTION: PureAir installed six SAH units to protect mission critical electronics and five VTS filled with PureAir 12 and Sulphasorb Fe™ adsorbent media. Since our systems and media were installed, H2S levels are reported to be undetectable.
