PFU
Vertical or Horizontal Airflow Cell System
|
|
The
Pure Air Filtration PureAir PFU is a complete self contained, horizontal or vertical airflow
packaged cell system. It provides continuous high efficiency air
purification for low level contaminated air streams ranging in volume from 500
to 4000 CFM. These systems are typically used in free standing applications
where fine purification of the air in a room is needed. PFUs are most
often used in computer control rooms as polishing filters to provide added
assurance of air quality. |
|
PureAir
DS
Drum Scrubber
|
|
The
Pure Air Filtration PureAir
DS is a vent control system that is completely
self contained. This system provides a reasonable inexpensive
air purification system for small flow odor air streams
ranging in volume without prefiltering or mist/grease
elimination, 50 to 1000 CFM. The PureAir DS
systems maybe connected to an exhaust vent and used
for passive odor control or environmental emission applications.
The most common applications are process vessels, storage
tanks, sewage life stations, and package sewage treatment
plants. Drum scrubbers do not include prefilters, final
filters, or mist/grease eliminators. Larger systems
will include a blower to ensure active purging of contaminants.

PureAir
VRF
Vortex™ Radial Flow System
|
|
The Pure Air Filtration PureAir VRF Vortex™ Radial Flow
system provides a high airflow solution in a small footprint. By using a
cylindrical shaped tower of adsorbent, PureAir is able to rely on height to
provide airflows up to 40000 cfm.

Media
|
PureAir
4
|
|
Pure
Air Filtration's PureAir 4 media targets a broad range of gases which cause corrosion,
odor, as well as other undesirable gases. Pure Air Filtration
starts with the highest grade activated alumina. This
ensures that the greatest possible adsorption capacity
is reached. This alumina is then impregnated with potassium
permanganate while being formed into a pellet.
|
| PureAir
8
|
|
Pure
Air Filtration's PureAir
8 has been developed to have roughly twice the capacity
of PureAir 4 media. This second generation adsorbent
media was developed in order to provide customers with
the maximum adsorption benefit at the minimum
cost. PureAir 8 targets a broad range of gases which
cause corrosion, odor, and other undesirable gases.
Pure Air Filtration starts with the highest grade
activated alumina. This ensures that the greatest possible
adsorption capacity is reached. This alumina is then
impregnated with potassium permanganate while
being formed into a pellet. Pure Air Filtration adds
a proprietary additive during the process in order to
keep all eight percent of the permanganate available
for reaction.

ACTIVATED
CARBONS
Activated
carbons are one of the most cost effective methods of
gas removal. Many types of activated carbons are available.
Activated carbon is used for purifying air and water
because it acts as an adsorbent, and can effectively
remove particles and organics from water, and odors
from air. One of the best materials for reducing risks
to human health, this material is also aesthetically
pleasing. Each activated carbon has its own specific
benefit. Unless specified otherwise, PureAir provides
AC-X type carbon as a standard.

PureAir
AC-G
|
|
Pure Air
Filtration's AC-G
Granular Activated Carbon - Our standard virgin
carbon is manufactured from select grades of bituminous
coal under strictly controlled steam activation conditions.
This carbon is irregularly shaped and granular in appearance.
With a highly developed porous structure, large surface
area, high adsorption rate, small bed resistance and
high mechanical strength, it is suitable for a wide
range of water treatment and vapor adsorption applications.

AC-X
|
|
Pure Air
Filtration's AC-X
Extruded
Activated Carbon - Because of its shape, performance,
and low cost extruded carbon has become the standard
over the past decade. PureAir carbon has a low dust,
high activity level, economical choice. Shape: 4mm Cylindrical.
|
|
PureAir AC-C
|
|
Pure Air
Filtration's AC-C
Coconut Shell Carbon - Produced from the shell
of coconuts, this carbon is considered the finest in
the world for air purification. The reason for this
is that the coconut shell forms pores which are just
the right size to capture many gases and odors. Coconut
shell carbon has a higher pressure drop (1.8” per foot
at 70 fpm) Physical Characteristics: Shape: Flat.

PureAir
CPS
Blend
|
|
Pure
Air Filtration's CPS Blend
adsorbent media is a 50 percent/ 50 percent blend of
PureAir 8 potassium permanganate based media and PureAir
AC virgin bituminous activated carbon designed for the
broadest range removal of corrosive, odorous, or toxic
gases.

PureAir
Sulphasorb
|
|
Pure
Air Filtration's Sulphasorb
has been used in the pulp & paper and refinery markets
for over forty years. This product targets those gases
which are predominant in this environment, especially
Hydrogen Sulphide. Pure Air starts with the highest
grade activated carbon. This ensures that the greatest
possible adsorption capacity is reached. The carbon
is then impregnated with an acid gas neutralizing compound
and a proprietary reagent which improves its neutralizing
efficiency. This product is designed to perform exceptionally
well in all scrubbers including Westvaco vapor adsorbers
and Purafil tub scrubbers.
|
|
PureAir
Sulphasorb
FE
|
|
Pure Air Filtration's Sulphasorb FE adsorbs 25% of its weight in hydrogen sulfide (H2S), for more than
its activated carbon competitors. Made from a high iron content
compound, Sulphasorb Fe is an all-around better choice than activated carbon for
use in odor control scrubbers where H2S levels exceed 50 ppm. |
|
PureAir
Sulphasorb
XL
|
|
Pure
Air Filtration's Sulphasorb XL adsorbent media has the highest hydrogen sulphide (H2S) removal
capacity commercially available. H2S is the primary gas in sewage odors and
industrial process gases. This high capacity (greater than 0.30 g/cc which is
more than 50 percent by weight) gives Pure Air Filtration gas removal systems
the capability to provide long lasting, highly efficient gas & odor removal
systems. This provides our customers with the lowest cost of ownership along
with the highest level of effectiveness.
|
|
PureAir
PP
Blend
|
|
Pure
Air Filtration's PP Blend
adsorbent media is a 50 percent/ 50 percent blend of
PureAir 8 potassium permanganate based media and Sulphasorb
acid gas removal media designed for the removal of corrosive
gases commonly found in the Pulp & Paper and Petrochemical/Refinery
industries.

|
PureAir
Ammoniasorb
|
|
Pure
Air Filtration's Ammoniasorb provides ideal absorbtion of amines and other base compounds such as
ammonia. It is developed from highly activated carbon manufactured by
steam activation from selected grades of anthracite coal. This material
is exceptionally hard and resistant to mechanical breakdown. |
|
PureAir
Safetysorb
|
|
Pure
Air Filtration's Safetysorb absorbent media is specifically designed to meet the requirements of
a chlorine release emergency. This media remains available for
absorbtion until the event of an emergency release. |
